Can I upgrade to the next tier even if I don’t meet the revenue threshold?

Yes, you can. If you would like to connect more devices or access more features, you can upgrade to the next tier by contacting us at via Live Chat or email

What happens after my 14-day free trial?

It depends on your cumulative revenue from the past 30 days (one-off purchases and monthly recurring revenue).

If you’ve generated less than $10,000 in revenue in the last 30 days, you will continue to have access to Control for free but will lose access to some of our features.

If you’ve generated more than $10,000 in revenue in the last 30 days, you will be prompted to upgrade to the Growth or Scale plan. We will stop refreshing your data until you upgrade. 

What happens when I surpass my revenue threshold?

First off, our whole team will congratulate you for reaching a major milestone. Great job! 🎉 .

Secondly, if you are on the Starter plan, you will be prompted to level up to the Growth plan. You will continue to have access to the Web dashboard however, we will stop refreshing your data until you have upgraded.

If you are on the Growth plan, you will be prompted when you exceed the revenue threshold. If you remain above the limit for the next 30 days, you will be automatically upgraded to the Scale plan on the following billing cycle.

What happens when I drop back below the revenue threshold?

Revenue fluctuates and if it should trend downward pass the revenue threshold for our pricing tier, we know that it won’t last forever. Because we believe in your business’s success, we aren’t going to drop you down. You will remain on your current tier and we will support you as you get your revenue back up.

How is the 30 days revenue calculated?

We determine which tier you fit in by the revenue you earn. We look at your past 30 days of revenue (which includes both recurring and nonrecurring transactions). Because your revenue is constantly evolving, we want the most accurate view of your business growth, so we calculate it every month on your billing date.

What is data history?

Data history is the record of transaction and customer data that we are securely collecting from your payment processor (Stripe, PayPal, Square, etc.) over time. We aggregate and harmonize these data to provide you real-time analysis, alerts, and visualizations.

What is considered a connected device and what will happen if I go over the limit?

A connected device is any device you use to log into your Control account. A smartphone, a tablet, and a desktop browser all count as devices.

If you were to log into another device while you’ve already reached your limit, you will be automatically logged out of one other device — you will not be able to use those two devices simultaneously.
